Admissions

Our goal with every parent is to provide them with the information they need to make educated decisions about the treatment for their child. We understand that wilderness therapy is not an appropriate option for everybody and we will not hesitate to tell families if we think that there is a more appropriate treatment option available for their child.

Costs:

The minimum length of stay with us is 63 days (9 weeks) and the cost per day is $475. If there is a need to stay beyond 9 weeks, the daily rate then decreases to $400.

Additionally, there is a non-refundable enrollment fee of $1800.00.

At the Journey Wilderness, we strive to make our program as affordable as possible. We understand that for some families, wilderness therapy is only one stop of many in the treatment of their child. So there are options we can work with to assist our families financially.

Insurance:

For a quick verification of your insurance benefits, set up a new account with us using the confidential application below. On the application itself, complete pages 1, 2, and 14 then submit. Once we have this information, we will verify whether insurance can cover some of the cost, and one of our representatives will reach out to you with an update.

You can always fill in the rest of the information later for our Clinical Director to review, and confirm whether your child is a good fit for our program.

Insurance for Wilderness Program:

i. Journey LLC, is considered out of network. We have a Medical Doctor M.D.and a Ph.D on our staff.

Scholarships:

Scholarships can all be discussed with the Admissions Director. They are determined based on the family’s needs and means. If you would like to discuss the possibilities of a scholarship we will require proof of income and a letter stating why, and how much assistance you would need and what your commitment is to the program for your child or self.
